An air guitar strummed
Lyrics plucked from the air
Expressing the unsaid

A simple request
A complex offering
Inevitable choices

A moon fell in my lap
Gratitude and fear
In equal measure

Different windows
Show differing views
Of the same reality

Wind and rain skim faces
Astride speed and power
Sight, smells and sound
